Reducing the amount of Coccidia parasites within herds of goats with a new feeder prototype

I helped to create a new design for a prototype feeder that would hopefully help in reducing Coccidia parasites in the goats present at the FAMU Farm in Quincy, FL. Before brainstorming on the actual prototype, I examined goat feces to fully characterize the extent to which the animals were being affected in this particular location. Due to limited resources available for research, such as funding and time, I was not able to fully complete this project. Hopefully in the near future, I will be able to do some collaboration with the Veterinarians on the farm!
